Chapter 273: Welcome Back, SSS-level Black Witch Miss Ambika to the Order Realm
by 不语忧Chapter 273: Welcome the Return of SSS-level Black Witch Ambika to the Order Realm
The Order Realm
"Dylan, please note that an SS-rank ghost is about to return to the Order Realm.
Keep the Order Gate passage clear and prepare for the reception."
"SSS-rank Top Order Officer Dylan: Order Lord, no spectral activity detected in the Order Passage yet. Should I go and verify?"
"The Order Realm has no need for weaklings who cannot return on their own."
"Black Witch power surge detected. Current strength rating: SSS-level."
"SSS-rank Top Order Officer Dylan: Order Lord, should I go to welcome her?"
"..."
"Go."
....
Wu Yue watched as Ambika was torn apart and devoured by Leah, her flesh stripped away, revealing the muscles and bones beneath.
Her gaze swept across the room as all the furnishings twisted, deformed, and vanished into nothingness.
By the time Ambika was completely dismantled and consumed by Leah, the two fused into one, the entire room had shrunk into a cold ossuary.
Inside Leah’s body, consumption writhed within, and Ambika’s resentful face emerged from within, snarling, "Why?! Why did you help her?!"
Wu Yue replied, "We were all exploiting each other—there’s no question of helping anyone.
You used me to eliminate Leah, and Leah used me to escape the castle.
I simply indulged your schemes, letting you destroy each other in the end."
Ambika raged, "It was this treacherous woman who set the trap first!!"
Wu Yue’s tone was icy. "Miss Ambika, You’ve misunderstood one thing.
I was never the dragon-slayer, nor the prince who came to rescue you from the tower.
I have no interest in judging your morals, your virtues, or your grudges—they mean nothing to me.
I’m no judge, no moralist, and certainly no redeemer.
The only reason I came here was to achieve my own goal.
Both you and Leah were just obstacles on my path. Whoever stood in my path, I would remove—be it by shifting mountains or parting seas."
She acted boldly and let karma handle the rest.
Wu Yue’s words seemed to hit Ambika like a revelation, stilling her fury and resentment.
Ambika suddenly stilled, and even Leah’s face contorted in confusion.
Then, a blinding pain erupted—Leah’s expression turned to disbelief as her body began to splinter apart piece by piece before her horrified eyes.
Within her, Ambika was reforged from the ashes.
Ambika emerged anew, aglow with youth, her eyes alight with innocence.
She was clad in a black witch's robe, holding a staff adorned with a crimson gemstone, within which flowed a deadly crimson fluid.
Ambika suddenly opened her eyes to stare at Wu Yue, and at the same time, a second pair of eyes opened on her neck.
Their sallow, dim-lit pupils exuded the same imperious disdain as Leah's, each blink pulsing with corrupting energy.
Ambika bowed slightly to Wu Yue,
"Congratulations, Miss Wu Yue, for completing all levels of this trial. As gratitude, I shall present you with all the inherited occult artifacts and forbidden magic of the black witch lineage.
Additionally, you will become the heir to all of Leah Norfolk's possessions, inheriting the entire treasure trove buried beneath this lost island by the Norfolk Kingdom.
Beyond that, as a reward for aiding my evolution, I can grant you any one request."
Wu Yue, "I want to know how to reach the Order Realm."
Ambika blinked, her lips curling into a sly grin,
"Miss Wu Yue, you have yet to meet the conditions required to enter the Order Realm."
Wu Yue stepped forward, "What are the conditions?"
Not far away, a pulsing hexagram appeared mid-air, its radiant glow casting a blinding white light—a passage specially opened by the Order Realm to welcome Ambika, a privilege only accessible to peak-level spectral beings.
Ambika, "Miss Wu Yue, humans can never fulfill the conditions to enter the Order Realm, for only phantoms can traverse.
Don't come any closer. A human touching this passage would be instantly obliterated."
Wu Yue, "Then let me ask another question. Fifteen years ago, a void-like portal appeared here. Have you seen it?"
Ambika's expression shifted slightly. Wu Yue narrowed her eyes, "You have. Do you know where this gate is now within the castle?"
Ambika, "Miss Wu Yue..."
Before she could speak further, the hexagram's light began to dim—an unmistakable warning from the Order Realm.
Should she reveal forbidden knowledge, the teleportation array would vanish, leaving her trapped in the mortal realm for execution.
Ambika hurried toward the hexagram. Seeing her attempt to leave, Wu Yue gave chase immediately.
Ambika urged her, "Miss Wu Yue, do not advance further! Do not seek what you should not know—it'll kill you!"
The moment Wu Yue entered the white light's range, its searing power began flaying her flesh.
Within the radiance, her very essence started unraveling. Even as her light-element control continuously repaired her, her system screamed warnings:
*Current bodily damage detected. Activating awakened ability [Bloodfusion Elemental Control: Light Lv.1]. Integrity restored to 50%.*
*Awakened ability [Bloodfusion Elemental Control: Light Lv.1] evolved to Level 2.*
*Current bodily damage detected. Activating awakened ability [Bloodfusion Elemental Control: Light Lv.2]. Integrity restored to 60%.*
*Awakened ability [Bloodfusion Elemental Control: Light Lv.2] evolved to Level 3.*
*Current bodily damage detected. Activating awakened ability [Bloodfusion Elemental Control: Light Lv.3]. Integrity restored to 50%.*
*Awakened ability [Bloodfusion Elemental Control: Light Lv.3] evolved to Level 4.*
"....."
As the passage grew wider, the light grew more scorching. Even with her abilities continuously upgrading, Wu Yue's body's ability to recover kept weakening.
Both her mental strength and awakened powers had far exceeded their usage limits.
Yet Ambika's eyes were filled with shock and disbelief,
"Impossible! Why hasn't she dissipated instantly upon contact?
To withstand Order's absolute laws and keep regenerating—what kind of powerful, mysterious force is this?!"
Suddenly, Wu Yue was pushed by an unseen force, completely flung out of the white light's range.
In excruciating pain, she looked up and caught a fleeting glimpse of another figure within the light—a tall, strikingly foreign-looking adult male. It was he who had pushed her out of the white light.
Her last conscious moment was seeing Ambika reaching out a step too late, casting a surprised glance at the person beside her.
Before Wu Yue entered emergency physical recovery and fell into deep sleep, she heard Ambika's voice fading as she teleported away:
"The door... is right before your eyes."
As the instance ended, the restrictions lifted, and full rescue and resupply arrived.
.....
"Miss Ambika, the black witch, your strength doesn't quite match the information provided by the Order Master."
"I have Miss Wu Yue to thank for completely killing my naivete."
"Miss Ambika, the black witch, despite receiving a warning from the Order, knowingly broke the rules and will face severe punishment."
"Lord Dylan, why did you save Miss Wu Yue?"
"A meddlesome human interfered with the retrieval of the passage."
"Miss Wu Yue is not just some nuisance! She is an incredibly powerful and wise sage!
You ignorant, boorish, shallow man!"
"..."
...
"Zzt—"
"Welcome back to the Order, Miss Ambika, the SSS-level black witch."
