Chapter 337: Shen Que’s Eight Dragon Bones Become 206
by 不语忧Chapter 337: Shen Que's Eight Dragon Bones Multiply to 206
"Captain Shen, the first son requests your presence in the Sirius Training Room."
The housekeeper's voice echoed outside the door. Wu Yue gripped Shen Que tightly, her voice tense. "Don’t go—they’ll absolutely rough you up."
Shen Que kissed Wu Yue gently. "I have to go. If I don’t show up today, I’d be a total chickenshit."
Wu Yue clung to him, and Shen Que pulled her close. "Is it because of the alcohol? You worrying like this… it’s too much for me."
Wu Yue buried her face against his chest. "Be careful."
Shen Que nodded. "I think your father and brothers won’t go *too* hard on me."
Wu Yue gave a small nod. "Go."
Before leaving, Shen Que asked, "Next time, can you drink only with me and not others?"
Wu Yue met his gaze. "Okay."
Shen Que immediately smiled.
Just as he was about to open the door, the housekeeper’s voice came from outside:
"Captain Shen, this building’s women… it’s improper."
Without a second thought, Shen Que turned back and opened the window. Below, Jiang Huaizhi, Jiang Qian, and Jiang Mubai stood geared up, with the whole Sirius squad behind them.
Shen Que gritted his teeth, suddenly doubting his earlier confidence about the Jiang family holding back.
Still, he leaped out the window without hesitation. The moment his feet touched the ground, countless guns were aimed at his head.
Shen Que sighed. "No need for the theatrics. I wasn’t planning to run." The Jiang family really was obsessed with this over-the-top CEO power trip.
Jiang Huaizhi’s expression was stormy. "Shen Que, how’d you slip past our security to get into Yue Yue’s room?"
Shen Que played dumb.
He had used a teleportation ring, but if the Jiang family found out, he might never get to use it again.
Jiang Huaizhi took a deep breath. "Even if you don’t say it, I can guess. You’d better hide it well later. Uncle’s clueless about modern tech—he wouldn’t know about that thing."
Shen Que looked at him in surprise. "You’re *helping* me?"
Jiang Huaizhi scowled. "I’m not helping you!! I just don’t want Yue Yue to be upset!! What you did today was too much!! What the hell do you think the Jiang family *is*?"
Following Jiang Huaizhi into the Sirius Training Room, Shen Que found only Jiang Cheng inside the huge, barren training hall.
Jiang Cheng lifted his icy gaze and, in a blink, materialized in front of Shen Que.
Shen Que had seen Jiang Cheng’s explosive speed before—it was inhumanly fast.
Even though he braced himself, the kick sent him flying.
White-hot pain exploded in his gut. Without the protection of his dragon bones, four ribs would have shattered. Spitting blood, Shen Que staggered upright.
Jiang Qian was stunned. "How the hell is Shen Que still standing? He took a direct hit and just *spit some blood*?!"
Jiang Mubai snorted. "You think Vlad plotted for decades over *eight lousy bones*?"
Jiang Cheng looked at Shen Que, who was radiating hostility, and said, "Don't hold back just because I'm Wu Yue's father. With your skills, your specialty is explosive strikes. If you hesitate any longer, you'll lose even the slightest chance of winning.
Shen Que, show me what you're really made of."
Shen Que had been waiting for these words. Without hesitation, he unleashed his full strength and appeared right in front of Jiang Cheng in an instant.
Holding nothing back, he immediately activated Dragon Scale Flash, opening with his ultimate move.
The phantom of a dragon roared furiously at Jiang Cheng under Shen Que’s surging battle intent, its thunderous roar reverberated throughout the training hall, leaving the Sirius members utterly stunned.
"Shen Que’s punches carry a dragon’s fighting spirit!"
"What’s with the dragon scales at the corners of his eyes? It feels like he’s gotten much stronger than before!"
"Look! Ever since the dragon scales appeared, Shen Que’s real-time spiritual power index has reached SSS+, and it’s still climbing!"
Jiang Huaizhi remarked, "It seems the dragon bones are Shen Que’s most crucial source of power. Vlad only achieved SSS-level spiritual power after stealing Shen Que’s dragon bones."
Jiang Qiao clicked his tongue. "That old bastard Vlad really has no shame."
Jiang Mubai suddenly understood. "I was wondering why the royal court didn’t just kill Shen Que outright before. They must need the dragon bones from his adulthood."
Jiang Huaizhi added, "The blood of the Saint Angel was already rare enough, but Vlad had to go after the dragon bones too. Greed knows no bounds—he bit off more than he could chew and ended up digging his own grave."
Shen Que and Jiang Cheng moved at terrifying speeds, trading dozens of strikes in the time it took to speak.
To the Sirius members, this was nothing short of astonishing. Previously, only the *Great Demon King* had ever beaten them one-sidedly, and aside from Jiang Huaizhi, very few could even trade blows with him—even Jiang Huaizhi himself couldn’t last more than five moves.
But now! Shen Que had already exchanged at least a dozen moves with Jiang Cheng!!
Jiang Qiao was incredulous. "Is Uncle going easy on him?"
Jiang Mubai scoffed. "Going easy? When has Uncle ever gone easy on anyone except Yu Hua?
Right now, he’s fighting the creep who sneaked into his only daughter’s room while she was drunk in the middle of the night. He wouldn’t go easy even if it killed him!"
As Jiang Cheng delivered a brutal kick to Shen Que’s chest, sending him crashing into the wall, the Sirius members—who had endured years of beatings—finally felt a sense of balance.
See?!
It wasn’t that they were weak!!
No matter who it was, even the defiant Shen Que, everyone could only get the beatdown from Jiang Cheng!!
Shen Que spat out another mouthful of blood, silver blood sprayed everywhere as he gasped for air.
It felt incredible—every fiber of his body shrieking alarms of imminent death, the overwhelming pressure and suffocating sensation of being at death’s door.
It was fucking exhilarating!! He hadn’t faced such a formidable opponent in so long!!
Without hesitation, Shen Que clenched his fists and surged forward at Jiang Cheng again.
This time, however, Jiang Cheng didn’t evade at all. He simply watched Shen Que calmly before finally folding his arms behind his back, standing still, and even closing his eyes.
Shen Que’s expression darkened as he halted. "What’s the meaning of this?"
Jiang Cheng replied, "This is all it takes to handle you."
A feral grin curled Shen Que’s lips. "Who the hell do you think you’re looking down on?!"
Jiang Cheng looked at him calmly, "You’re not strong enough to face me.
In your current state, you can't protect Yue Yue at all. Do yourself a favor and back off now."
Shen Que was seething. Provoked by Jiang Cheng, he cast aside all hesitation.
Suddenly, Shen Que tilted his head slightly. The Sirius group heard the sickening sound of flesh and bone tearing apart.
Jiang Mubai blurted out, "What is Shen Que doing?!"
Jiang Huaizhi was astonished to discover two starry dragons materializing out of thin air, coiled behind Shen Que. As the gruesome sound of bones cracking and reshaping echoed, Shen Que's entire skeletal structure seemed to undergo reinforcement.
His body glowed with an unnatural golden light, while the sacred blood of the Holy Angel continuously welled up, dripping and endlessly repairing his body.
Jiang Huaizhi murmured, "Shen Que started with just eight dragon bones—all ribs shielding his core.
But in reality, the human body has 206 bones."
Jiang Qian couldn't believe it, "No way... Is he converting his entire skeleton into dragon bones?"
Jiang Mubai retorted, "Impossible! If he could pull that off, why hold back against the Royal Court?"
Jiang Huaizhi speculated, "I heard Prince Squire has a black dragon by his side, but the two Shen Que summoned are both celestial dragons.
Perhaps one of the dragons was tainted back then, making full dragon-bone conversion impossible.
Or he was keeping his power under wraps. If Vlad had known Shen Que could possess 206 dragon bones, Vlad would’ve walked all over him.
Just like with the Holy Angel’s blood—Vlad would’ve drained him dry—Shen Que wouldn’t have had a leg to stand on.
But..."
Jiang Huaizhi hesitated, "I heard these two dragons were left to Noah Squire by his parents. He cherished them and hardly ever sent them into battle.
Once the purification of all 206 dragon bones is complete, these dragons could fade away, leaving only echoes behind."
The three Jiangs locked eyes.
"He has already fulfilled his duty and bid farewell to his parents. Now, he’s fighting for one thing: to protect Wu Yue!"
