Chapter 318: The Twenty-sixth Day in the ABO World
by 三根木Chapter 318: The Twenty-Sixth Day of Transmigrating into an ABO World
After a while, An Yi suddenly opened his eyes and turned to face Wei Yang.
He reached out, his warm palm gently cradling Wei Yang's cheek, his fingertips brushing against the slightly flushed skin.
The light from the wall lamp fell into his deep eyes, sparking a mischievous, childlike glint.
"Tonight, once the snow piles up thick enough," An Yi said, looking at Wei Yang with a hint of excitement in his voice, "let's head downstairs and have a snowman-building contest."
"!!!"
Wei Yang: "Okay!!"
He practically shouted it, so hyped he nearly bounced off the bed, nodding vigorously. "Let's build snowmen! Brother, let's race! See who builds faster and better!"
He was already picturing an adorable snowman—he'd model it after his brother!
Watching Wei Yang suddenly light up with endless energy, the smile in An Yi's eyes deepened. He gave Wei Yang's shoulder a squeeze. "Stop squirming!"
Wei Yang settled down. "Okay!"
Once the excitement died down, Wei Yang remembered something important.
He looked at An Yi with hopeful, pleading eyes. "Brother, during winter break, c-can I stay here the entire time?"
Worried An Yi might think he was too clingy, he quickly added, "I-it's just... sometimes... I won't get in your way while you're working!"
An Yi thought this was funny. He reached out and ruffled Wei Yang's soft hair, his tone fond. "Whatever you want."
Wei Yang: "!!!!! Yay—!!!"
He cheered, unable to resist lunging forward to plant a big kiss on An Yi's cheek, then shyly pulled back and buried himself under the covers, leaving only his eyes visible, crinkled into a happy smile.
Winter break meant he could stay with his brother all the time! This was literally the best thing ever!
Comment section:
"?????? Why did the POV suddenly switch to An Er's side?"
"Is this... did they hook up?"
"Looks like it."
"How was it glossed over! We didn't see anything! Just exhaust fumes!! @Author!"
"We only saw them lying in bed talking, that's it!"
"Even the exhaust fumes are barely visible!"
"@Author! You jerk!!"
"The main couple got a subtle scene, why not them? Are we not worthy?!"
"Ahhhhhhh! Is it BA or AB, author, are you messing with us?!"
"You can't even tell they did it!! (face twisted.jpg)"
"No! No! No! (snowflakes falling~)"
"..."
An Yi: ...It's BA.

As the night deepened, the snow indeed fell thicker and thicker, blanketing the ground in a pristine white layer.
After dinner, the two dressed warmly, bundled up tightly, and headed downstairs.
An Yi wasn't actually afraid of the cold, but he still put on a thick down jacket and a soft scarf like Wei Yang, leaving only his deep eyes and straight nose exposed.
The community garden was already a silver wonderland, quiet and empty.
Only the crunch of their footsteps on the snow broke the silence.
"Brother! Let's start!" Wei Yang grabbed a handful of snow, eager to begin.
"Alright," An Yi nodded. "Let's see who builds better!"
Each claimed their own "territory" and got to work.
Wei Yang was full of energy, huffing and puffing as he rolled a massive snowball with quick, nimble movements.
An Yi glanced at him—how big was he planning to make this thing?!
After all the effort, Wei Yang was sweating.
Then, two distinctly different snowmen stood in the snow.
Wei Yang's was tall and imposing but looked "adorably clumsy." He'd originally wanted to model it after An Yi, but he'd overestimated his skills, so he just let his imagination run wild.
An Yi's was sleek and rounded, more refined.
"Brother! Yours is so good!" Wei Yang admired An Yi's beautiful little snowman sincerely, then pointed at his own. "Look at mine! Doesn't it look like a guard?"
An Yi looked at the "mighty" snowman, then at Wei Yang's eager face, and let out a soft laugh. "Yeah, it does."
An Yi stepped back a few paces to admire the results, then declared unilaterally, "I win!"
Wei Yang immediately clapped. "Awesome!!"
The warm glow of the streetlamp fell softly on the white snow, outlining the two standing side by side, along with their two adorable snowmen.
Their shadows stretched long, intertwining and reflecting on the smooth bodies of the snowmen.
"Brother! Let's take photos!" Wei Yang excitedly pulled out his phone, adjusted the angle, and snapped several shots—some of the snowmen alone, but mostly selfies of him and An Yi standing together in front of them.
In the photos, Wei Yang was grinning ear to ear, while An Yi, though wearing a mask and scarf with only his curved eyes visible, radiated an unmistakable joy.
Wei Yang immediately picked the best few and posted them to his Moments with the caption: [Snowmen built with my brother! (heart)(heart)(heart)]
Seeing this, An Yi also took out his phone and posted the photos to his Moments.
No faces, just the two snowmen leaning together under the streetlamp, and the clear shadows of him and Wei Yang pressed close, reflected on the snowmen.
The caption was simple, just a symbol: [(snowman.jpg)]
[Mother: The snowmen are adorable! Xiao Yi, have fun! (heart)(rose)(fireworks)]
[An Xuan: !!! Second Bro, you actually know how to build a snowman?! And you posted it on social media?! Wei Yang, what have you done to my second brother?! (Shocked)]
[An Qing: Roads are slippery with snow, be careful. (Just casually liked it)]
[Father: Xiao Yi, you did a great job building that! Both of you made wonderful snowmen! Have fun! (Hug) (Hug)]

At home, Yu Fei held her phone and carefully examined the shadows in the photo. This shadow next to him... is this our cute, shy little Beta second daughter-in-law?
But he looks so tall—is it just the lighting making him look taller?
Oh, what an adorable young couple.
Wei Yang watched the likes and comments pouring in on his phone, especially when he saw An Yi's post with just a single snowman emoji, he felt all warm and fuzzy inside.
He put away his phone, and while An Yi was busy replying to comments on his phone, he quietly grabbed a small handful of snow, quickly packed it into a snowball, and gently tossed it onto the hood of An Yi's down jacket.
An Yi felt the movement, looked up, and saw Wei Yang grinning from ear to ear at him, with a look that screamed, "I'm guilty, but I'm adorable!"
An Yi raised an eyebrow, glanced at the snow stain on his hood, then looked at Wei Yang, said nothing, and simply bent down, calmly and deliberately starting to pack snow.
Wei Yang saw this and immediately laughed as he ran off: "Bro, I'm sorry! Don't hit me!"
An Yi chased after him: "Too late!"
