Huo Tingying frowned, "Speak properly."

Yun Mu sneered and kicked him hard, leaving a footprint on his elegantly tailored black trousers.

"Still traveling for work? Still avoiding me?" Yun Mu still felt unsatisfied and kicked him several more times. "I've been working day and night to make medicine for you. What did I do to deserve this cold war from you?"

Huo Tingying pulled her into his embrace with force, his large hands tightly holding her slender waist. "I didn't want to avoid you."

"Not avoiding me?" Yun Mu was almost laughing in anger. "I went to your company and saw you and your secretary lying to me about your business trip. Is that not avoiding me?"

"You came to the company looking for me?"

Huo Tingying was taken aback, realizing she must have been at the company when she called him.

He pinched the bridge of his nose, organizing his thoughts before speaking solemnly, "I really didn't mean to deceive you, but... I thought you wouldn't want to see me anymore."

"This is your promise, no going back on it."

Huo Tingying suddenly lifted his gaze, his narrow eyes flashing with a mischievous gleam, a triumphant smirk on his face.

Yun Mu narrowed her beautiful eyes. "Why do I feel like I've been tricked?"

Huo Tingying cornered her against the wall, his thin lips curling into a naughty smile. "No, how could that be?"

Yun Mu snorted softly.

"I want to check your wound," Huo Tingying changed the subject while starting to touch her, peeling back her clothes. On her milk-white neck, the red bite marks were still prominent.

Huo Tingying's eyes darkened.

Yun Mu gently pushed his hand away, covering her neck. "There's nothing to see; it'll heal in a couple of days."

Huo Tingying looked up at her, his voice low and hoarse. "Does it hurt?"

"No, they were just minor injuries. I applied some medicine, so I can barely feel them anymore. Besides... don't other couples play around like this for fun?"

Huo Tingying glanced at his tooth marks again, ensuring there was no inflammation or swelling, before letting go. His eyes gazed at her deeply. "From the sound of it, you're quite interested?"

"Huh?" Yun Mu was taken aback, waving her hand. "No, no, no. I'm not into that."

Who would be interested? It was practically risking their life!

Huo Tingying chuckled softly, his long fingers caressing her neck, giving her a gentle kiss on her eyelashes. He whispered, "I'm sorry, it won't happen again."

Yun Mu raised an eyebrow, patting his shoulder with a laugh. "I forgive you this time. If it happens again, I'll beat you until you can't perform!"

Huo Tingying chuckled, kissing her forehead. "Then wouldn't you be left alone?"

Yun Mu pushed him away. "I've noticed you're becoming less serious, all horny and stuff."

As he spoke, he pulled her slender waist closer to him.

As he spoke, his hand began to restlessly undo her clothes.
