Chapter 527: Group Wedding
by 叶微摇Chapter 527: Joint Wedding
After this incident, it seemed as though the dark clouds looming over the Southern Netherland Continent had finally dissipated.
Real summer set in, and with the scorching heat, Yun Mu, pregnant with twins, found it especially draining. She preferred lying down at home over standing whenever possible.
As the head planner of the wedding, Ji Shu couldn't help but feel exasperated seeing her like this. "Yun Mu, can you at least walk around a bit? I'm seriously worried you'll fall asleep halfway down the aisle at the wedding! Also, how many times has your wedding dress been resized this month? Can't your belly grow a little slower? At this rate, you're going to look awful in your dress!"
"Bullshit! Amu isn't fat at all. Amu will look absolutely stunning in her wedding dress!" Ji Ming shot back.
Ji Shu planted her hands on her hips. "Dare you repeat that in front of Yi Yanran?"
Ji Ming clammed up immediately!
By the time Yi Jue returned to Mapleleaf Keep, Yun Shumo had already arrived.
Seeing him enter, Yun Shumo quipped, "Oh, look who finally decided to show up—the groom! Try on your suit!"
Ji Ming and Yunzhe, the groomsmen, had already slipped into their suits, but Yun Shumo wasn't one of them.
After all, it made no sense for the bride's own brother to be a groomsman. This had left Yun Shumo pissed off.
When Yi Jue emerged in his groom's suit, standing alongside the two groomsmen, the sight was particularly dashing.
Yun Mu, nibbling fruit, glanced at the trio and suddenly remarked, "Honestly, with the three of you standing together like that, it's hard to tell who the groom is. You all look like grooms. Why don't we just have a joint wedding?"
The moment Yun Mu said this, Ji Shu's eyes sparkled. "That's a fantastic idea! Yes, yes! Then I'll move the wedding to the beach. After the ceremony, we can island honeymoon—how perfect and relaxing!"
After speaking, Ji Shu suddenly realized she might sound too pushy and quickly explained to Yunzhe, "Not that I'm pressuring you or anything! This was Yun Mu's idea!"
Yun Mu side-eyed Yunzhe. "You haven't proposed yet?"
Yunzhe nodded. "Not yet, so the joint wedding might have to—"
"No need, no need! We can just go straight to the wedding!" Ji Shu, afraid the opportunity would slip away, jumped on the idea. "I'm very easygoing, you know."
Ji Ming covered his eyes. "Ji Shu, could you at least play it cool?"
Yun Mu shot him a sidelong glance. "And what about you? Have you proposed?"
Ji Ming smirked proudly. "Of course! I fast-forwarded past dating and went straight to proposing. Right, Yanran?"
Yi Yanran, who had been put on the spot, blushed and glared at him. "I never agreed to marry you right away! The Yi family's matters aren't settled yet!"
Ji Ming freaked out. "But I already handled those family elders—you're definitely the next head of the family! So, when do you plan to marry me? Wouldn't it be fun for all three couples to celebrate together?"
"Quit yelling! I never said no!" Yi Yanran's face turned even redder.
Seeing their reactions, Yun Mu knew the matter was settled.
Ji Shu acted even faster, whipping out her tablet. "I've already picked out wedding dresses. There are several options here—Yun Mu, help me choose which one suits me best? Also, I've prepared proposals from several wedding planners. I'll send them to a group chat later so everyone can pick the best one. As for the grooms' suits, leave them to me—I can have the designers expedite them. Basically, just report any issues to me, and I'll handle everything."
The three men shared a look before Yi Jue patted them on the shoulders. "Let's go. With Ji Shu here, she could arrange thirty weddings, let alone three. There's nothing left for us to do."
After all, no matter what they thought, everything would ultimately go Ji Shu’s way.
Ji Ming and Yunzhe nodded and followed Yi Jue out.
Yun Shumo sat alone to the side, looking utterly desolate.
How come it feels like the whole world is getting married, while he's the only one eternally single?
No way—he couldn’t let himself suffer alone. Other singles should join in and suffer together!
Yun Shumo immediately pulled out his phone.
...
This wedding was lavish and bustling.
Almost all the nobility of the Southern Ming Continent attended this unprecedented wedding.
Who would have thought that the four great families, once divided and ruling separate factions across the Southern Ming Continent, would one day come together like this?
After this wedding, the Southern Ming Continent would usher in a new chapter.
Moreover, some unexpected people showed up—people Yun Mu hadn't anticipated.
On the wedding day, not only did Yun Tingying and Lin Wanqing come, but even Yun Mu's brothers from the Imperial Capital's Yun family showed up: the eldest, Yun Heshu; the second, Yun Shumo; the third, Yun Chengdong; and the fourth, Yun Muze.
When the four drop-dead gorgeous guys, each with their own distinct style, stood at the wedding venue, Yi Yanran and Ji Shu lost their cool.
Especially Ji Shu—she was practically drooling!
"Yun Mu, since when did you have so many brothers?! OMG, the mature and steady one, the dashing and charming one, the heart-stoppingly beautiful one, and the bad boy—each one is a total catch! How could you not introduce them to me sooner?"
Yi Yanran nodded in agreement. "Truly, this is pure eye candy! And honestly, they all seem so much more dependable than Ji Ming!"
Yun Mu laughed. "Careful, your fiancés might get jealous—"
Before she could finish, she sensed a shift in the air behind her.
The next second, a chilly voice rang out. "Ji Shu, who exactly do you want introduced to you?"
Followed by a whiny protest, "Yanran, how am I unreliable?"
The three women: "..."
Uh-oh, caught red-handed!
Yun Mu raised her hands. "Sort out your lover’s spat yourselves—I’m dipping."
But before she could take two steps, Lin Wanqing's voice called out, "Mumu!"
Yun Mu stopped dead.
Facing the Yun couple again, she could no longer maintain her cheeky, combative act.
Who would have thought they were truly her real parents?
But Yun Mu had already made a deal with Yun Shumo—only Yun Heshu would be told the whole story about everything that happened in the Southern Ming Continent, including Yun Mu's real identity.
After all, it didn’t even matter now which "Yun Mu" she was.
Blood is blood.
Let them believe she was Yun Xiaosha. She would keep living as Yun Xiaosha anyway.
What she once thought unforgivable didn’t seem so unforgivable now.
As the Yun couple approached, their gazes held real warmth—the longing and love of parents for their daughter.
Yun Mu felt the ice around her heart finally thawed.
