Journalists, having caught wind of the news, swarmed around the Flying Dragon Building.

A reporter from Hong Kong News Channel held a microphone, standing eagerly before the police cordon. "The horrifying pregnant woman murder case in the Cross-Harbor Tunnel has been solved in less than 48 hours. Both missing pregnant women have been successfully rescued, and take note, there were no additional casualties – none at all!"

"It's an extraordinary accomplishment to solve such a high-profile case in such a short time. We can only imagine the incredible perseverance displayed by Team D of the Serious Crime Unit."

"The perpetrator has been brought to justice, and we hope that the families of the victims can now begin to rebuild their lives."

"According to our sources, the main investigator in charge of this case is Inspector Chu from Team D, a rising star in the force. Let's follow the camera and meet this promising newcomer."

The camera focused on the Flying Dragon Building, and the on-site journalists promptly switched their feeds back to the news channel.

Two pregnant women were seen being escorted out by the police, followed by two feng shui consultants who were held in custody. On a stretcher lay A Shu, already lifeless.

Finally, after everyone had left, a young woman emerged from the building. She rubbed her sore neck and, with sharp instincts, noticed the camera angle. Turning around, she pulled Zhou Fengxu in front of her as a shield. Zhou Fengxu glanced at the camera and, with a swift movement, pulled Shi Boren towards them.

Shi Boren was also camera-shy, peering around to try and grab Gan Yizu. However, Gan Yizu was quick on his feet, dodging away with a shrug of his shoulders.

Experienced police officer Luo Qizhong calmly pulled out his mask, flicked it open, and wore it with ease.

"Hey, you can't use me as a shield! No way!" Shi Boren chuckled, aligning his body and shifting sideways, exposing Chu Yuening perfectly behind him.

"Yuening, you have to be in the shot."

It was in that very moment.

Outside the building, thunderous applause had already erupted.

The sun was scorching hot, making it difficult for people to keep their eyes open. Amidst the applause, Team D had just solved a new case, and everyone was in high spirits, their faces glowing with smiles.

Stepping onto the street, Zhou Fengxu opened his wallet and took out a black card, its golden edges shimmering in the sunlight. Extending his hand, he tapped the card and suggested, "Xu's Seafood Restaurant has great flavors. Let's try it out for our victory banquet tonight."

"Sounds good!" The team responded in unison.

Chu Yuening joyfully took the black card and looked at Zhou Fengxu, playfully waving it. "I'm the one who made the greatest contribution, so I won't be too polite."

"Hey, hey, hey." Shi Boren glanced around and whispered, "Brother Xu is all yours, so you don't have to be polite either."

"Brother Ren, this isn't suitable for kids!" Gan Yizu protested with laughter. Afterward, he quickly leaned in to Ning Ning's ear and said, "Sis Ning, don't be too polite."

Chu Yuening stretched out her hand and pointed at each of their noses. "Be careful, or I might cast a spell and summon a banana spirit to drain your yang energy."

Shi Boren promptly begged for mercy with an exaggerated expression.

Watching them tease each other, a smile spread across Zhou Fengxu's handsome face. He casually stepped aside, secretly taking Chu Yuening's hand. Feeling her grip, his smile deepened.

At the end of Vegetable Washing Street, the group of five walked further and further away, their laughter and chatter fading into the distance.
