Xiao Hua walked down the South Gate and met up with Zhao Ye and two others.

"Sis Hua!" Zhao Ye hurried over and said, "Come with us!"

Xiao Hua joined them but, as they walked, she felt the number of people was off and looked at them. "Where are my brother and Brother Bai?"

Han Xiu Jie came over to explain, "The captain is the overall commander, and Brother Bai is in charge of the eastern section. Neither can leave easily."

"The bigger the power, the bigger the responsibility," Zhao Ye said with a pretentious sigh.

Xiao Hua nodded in understanding, and they all returned to the logistics department together.

Over the course of four hours, many exhausted enhanced individuals who had retreated midway were receiving treatment.

Su Mo had just finished treating someone when she saw Xiao Hua and the others. She immediately came over to ask, "How are you guys doing?"

Xiao Hua raised an eyebrow and smiled, looking relaxed, "We're all fine. Go attend to others."

They had been fighting zombies all the way from City C to City F, encountering them more than once, even in rainstorms without slacking off, using the kills to practice their skills.

The zombies’ roars and the grating sound of their claws scraping the walls mingled, sending shivers down everyone’s spines in the chaotic night.

The night was a symbol of danger, and Xiao Hua was more cautious than during the day, using only her right hand to release her powers while gathering energy in her left, which remained hidden and unused.

Only when zombies tried to sneak up and climb the wall did Xiao Hua unleash her full power, dispatching them as quickly as possible.

This battle was grueling and lengthy, with many people coming and going, unable to last four hours before being replaced.

Xiao Hua focused on protecting those in danger, preventing them from being torn apart by the zombies.

The water dragons were surrounded by lightning, quickly forming an electric barrier that blocked the remaining zombies.

Then the water dragons dispersed into countless ice crystals, carrying the lightning and rushing towards the zombies below the wall.

A blinding flash of lightning struck, wiping out a massive wave of zombies below, leaving a temporary gap in their ranks.

Their combined efforts boosted the morale of the enhanced fighters at the south gate.

Xiao Zui handed command over to Bai Mu and threw himself into the fight, while Xiao Hua stepped back to catch her breath.

The battle was too intense for Xiao Hua to leave; she took the opportunity to rest where she was.
