Chapter 65: The Dress (Part 2)

    "How about this one?"

A black and white patchwork long dress was taken out and handed to Xiao Hua.

The design was simple and elegant, with only half of the shoulder exposed and a slit up to the thigh.

"Let's go with this one." Xiao Hua found it acceptable.

The stylist beamed and quickly picked out a pair of black high heels.

Xiao Hua took the dress and the heels and went into the bathroom to change.

In the mirror, the beauty’s right shoulder was bare, her long legs partially hidden under the black skirt, and her feet adorned with slender stilettos.

Xiao Hua spun around in front of the mirror to check if the dress was properly worn, then walked a few steps to ensure it didn’t hinder her movement.

Noticing her hair was messy, and knowing she would have her hair done later, Xiao Hua simply pulled out her hair tie and let her hair down before walking out of the bathroom.

    "Wow!"

Su Mo circled Xiao Hua several times, examining her from head to toe, unable to help but exclaim, "Holy crap! Are those breasts, that waist, and those legs real?!"

Looking at the light pink chiffon dress in her hands, Su Mo whined, "We’re both college girls, how can there be such a huge difference?!"

Xiao Hua scanned Su Mo from top to bottom, lingering on her key features for a few seconds, and sincerely complimented, "You’re not bad either, you’ve got plenty of assets."

Su Mo’s eyes were fixed on Xiao Hua, her hands itching to touch, "Can I feel it? I want to try the texture."

    Xiao Hua: "……”

Xiao Hua took a small step back and wrapped her arms around herself, as if seeking comfort.

Just then, the boys returned after getting changed, and Xiao Hua quickly shifted the topic to divert Su Mo's attention, "Hey, Brother Bai, are you wearing a white suit?"

While everyone else was in black, Bai Mu's white suit stood out like a sore thumb, making him the center of attention.

Bai Mu smiled and nodded, "Yeah," as he picked out a black tie and leisurely fastened it, adding a distinct touch of black to his all-white outfit.

His fair skin and elegant demeanor made the white suit look perfect on him, giving him the air of a proud and noble young man.

Xiao Hua had to admit, he was definitely good-looking.

After taking a few seconds to admire him, she turned her attention to the others.

The main group was clearly a collection of eye candy, each with their own unique style.

Bai Mu, with his gentle and refined charm, was the epitome of a well-mannered gentleman. Xiao Zui exuded raw charisma and confidence. Tang Yi was tall and surprisingly gentle. Han Xiu Jie, wearing his gold-rimmed glasses, combined intellectual sophistication with a rugged edge.

Xiao Hua noticed Zhao Ye. She tried to suppress her laughter but couldn't help it, eventually bursting out laughing.

Zhao Ye was confused, feeling like Xiao Hua was looking at him with a strange mix of amusement and fondness.

The next moment, her evaluation confirmed that it wasn't his imagination.

"Hahaha, you look like a kid who snuck into their parent's closet and borrowed a suit that's way too big! Hahaha!"

"Zhao Ye, do you know, your baby face still has some baby fat, and yet you're wearing a serious suit—honestly, it's pretty funny hahaha!"

Actually, Zhao Ye was handsome too, but his temperament really didn’t match the other four. When the five of them stood together, it was like four older brothers who look like they run things were bringing their sweet little brother out for a show.

Yes, Zhao Ye was that sweet little brother.

Zhao Ye's face turned beet red with embarrassment as he yelled, "I'm a tough guy!"

"Okay, okay, a tough guy with skin smoother than any girl's," Xiao Hua thought, reaching out to poke Zhao Ye’s cheek and quickly retracting her hand. She nodded, "Soft as a pillow."

    Just as she had expected.

"Bai Mu!" Zhao Ye looked at him with frustration, seeking support.

Bai Mu looked at Xiao Hua without saying anything, a look of mild exasperation in his eyes.

Xiao Hua sobered up and stopped teasing, walking over to sit by a chair, allowing the stylist to finalize her look.

The stylist examined Xiao Hua’s face, marveling, "With a face like that, you could have debuted as a star before the apocalypse. Your base is really good—just some loose curls and light makeup will do. How about it?"

Xiao Hua thought it sounded great and nodded, "That works."
