Soon, seven young people entered one after another—four men and three women.

Bai Mu noticed that man and saw that he had looked at both him and Xiao Hua several times.

However, since the man didn’t make any moves, Bai Mu suppressed his curiosity for the time being and didn’t bother with him.

In the apocalypse, everyone was on high alert, and trust between people was hard to come by. When the two groups met at night, no one took the initiative to greet the other.

Xiao Hua and her group stayed in the inner room, while the other team stayed in the outer room, each keeping to their own space.

Due to mutual wariness, the people outside suddenly erected a three-foot-high dirt wall, apparently trying to block Xiao Hua’s group from view.

The unexpected visitors had ruined her dinner, and she was already fuming. Seeing what they were up to, she didn’t feel like playing nice anymore. After confirming with Bai Mu that he wouldn’t stop her, Xiao Hua directly erected an ice wall behind the dirt wall—one that reached the ceiling.

The group outside stared in shock, unsure how to respond.

Bai Mu cleared his throat softly. Instead of stopping Xiao Hua from causing trouble, he turned to Han Xiu Jie, "Xiu Jie, use your powers to control some steel to block the view."

Han Xiu Jie did as instructed, covering all the transparent parts of the ice wall.

Xiao Hua was finally satisfied with the setup. She provided water for everyone to wash up briefly before pulling Su Mo into the quilt and going to sleep.

In the middle of the night, Xiao Hua was half-asleep when she suddenly heard a muffled argument coming from outside.

Xiao Hua turned over.

Damn, will this ever stop?

After about twenty minutes, the noise finally died down.

Xiao Hua rolled over again and opened her eyes in the dark.
