Chapter 85: I think her plan is impeccable.
by 黎家七七Chapter 85: I think her plan is impeccable.
"Of course," Su Taotao replied confidently.
Fortunately, "Su Taotao" was an educated youth sent down from a big city; otherwise, she wouldn’t have known how to "win over" the clever Fu Zhengtu with her skills.
Being from a top-tier city, with more skills and broader experiences, what's wrong with that?
Anyway, Fu Zhengtu didn’t know what she had studied or how well she had done in school.
Fu Zhengtu’s knuckled hand suddenly rubbed her head, just like he would with Chenchen.
"Marrying me must have been a hardship for you," he said. The previous reluctance had now turned into guilt.
Su Taotao clasped her hands around his neck, stood on her tiptoes, and rubbed her nose against his. "Not at all—it’s my honor."
These were Su Taotao’s true feelings.
Their compatibility was all-encompassing, from body to soul.
If at the beginning, she had only aimed for a "legal intimate friend" and a means to survive in this era, now she was certain that Fu Zhengtu liked her.
She felt the same.
Body and soul, respect and admiration, along with family members like Chenchen, Yuanhang, and Zhou Linglan, were enough to support them through the long years ahead.
When it came to love, Su Taotao wasn’t sure how to define it.
She would leave it to time, and perhaps one day she would be fortunate enough to understand.
Fu Zhengtu wrapped his arms around Su Taotao’s waist, closed his eyes, and kissed her forehead with reverence.
It made Su Taotao’s heart flutter more than if he had kissed her lips.
"I’m going to work now, waiting for my good news."
Su Taotao hugged his waist and rubbed against his chest. "Don’t forget to drink the mung bean soup; you’ve been feeling a bit overheated lately."
Fu Zhengtu: "Okay."
……
As soon as Fu Zhengtu left the house, Chenchen woke up.
The upstairs was much hotter than downstairs at noon. Su Taotao had laid out a small cooling mat downstairs and turned on the fan so Chenchen could nap.
The little guy slept soundly, then sat up, rubbed his eyes, and began searching for his mom and Bai Bai.
Before he could turn around, Su Taotao picked him up.
"Chenchen, you’re awake? Feeling warm?"
Su Taotao felt his back; it was fine, only his neck had sweated a little, and his back and clothes weren’t wet.
Chenchen hugged his mother’s neck and rubbed against her. "Mom~~ wash Bai Bai~~"
The little guy still remembered this; he hadn’t mentioned it earlier because his mother had been busy.
Su Taotao kissed him. "Okay, once I wash Bai Bai, you’ve said six whole words—great job!"
Su Taotao watched as the little guy progressed from not speaking at first to saying one or two words, and now he could say five or six words.
From his initial quiet and reserved nature, to slowly becoming willing to talk to people, to being open to interacting with strangers, and now becoming lively and cheerful, seeing his progress day by day filled Su Taotao with a great sense of accomplishment.
Raising this little guy is really fun.
Chenchen looked confused, not even realizing that he had said six words.
Su Taotao had Chenchen sit on a small stool to drink some mung bean soup while she gathered the supplies to bathe the puppy.
Since Bai Bai was still so young, even in the middle of summer, Su Taotao didn’t dare wash him with cold water.
She filled a basin with warm water, set it in the sun, grabbed an old towel, cut a piece of soap, and then brought Bai Bai over.
After finishing his mung bean soup, Chenchen trailed after his mom like a little shadow and brought his own special small stool to help Mom wash Bai Bai.
“Chenchen, go put your straw hat on and bring Mom’s straw hat over too.”
Chenchen ran off on his short legs to complete the task.
Bai Bai was very well-behaved, barely moving during his first bath, only letting out a small protesting sound when Chenchen accidentally hurt him.
Chenchen rubbed his head, and he immediately calmed down again.
Just as calm and cooperative as Chenchen.
The mother and son spent nearly ten minutes in the sun before Bai Bai was all clean.
Su Taotao wrapped Bai Bai in the old towel, dried him off, and handed him to Chenchen.
Chenchen held Bai Bai, sniffed him, and squinted. “Mom, Bai Bai smells nice.”
Su Taotao replied, “Yes, he smells nice.”
Su Taotao brought Bai Bai’s “dog bed” down from upstairs, replaced it with clean old clothes, and placed it in the filtered sunlight.
“Chenchen, bring Bai Bai over to sunbathe for a while, and only let him inside after his fur is completely dry.”
“Okay, Mom!” Chenchen exclaimed, carrying Bai Bai over and bringing his own little stool to keep Bai Bai company in the sun.
The area with filtered sunlight was shaded by a massive tree just outside the yard.
When they built the house, most trees were cut down, but for some reason, this massive tree was spared. It was probably some kind of precious wood, or maybe it was too big to cut down without feeling guilty. Either way, Su Taotao didn’t know.
But it was a good thing it was kept; otherwise, there wouldn’t be a shaded spot in the yard at all.
Research Center.
Director’s Office.
Fu Zhengtu, the deputy director, the Office Manager, and the Head of Accounting were all present.
They had been silent for a while after reviewing the proposal Fu Zhengtu submitted.
The deputy director removed his thick glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose. “Is this plan really written by Little Su?”
Fu Zhengtu nodded. “Genuine.”
The deputy director nodded appreciatively. “Little Su is a rare talent, gifted in writing and also economically savvy. It’s just a pity… Have you looked it over?”
It’s well-supported by evidence, grounded in reality, forward-looking, and prepared for the worst. It’s not just empty hype meant to get you excited. Each word is irrefutable, and there’s no fluff—every sentence counts. Yet every word tells you that if you don’t give it a try, it will definitely be your loss.
Fu Zhengtu then pulled out Su Taotao’s test sample and handed it over:
“My wife made this sample herself this morning. The production method is in the attachment on the last page. The raw materials used were only discarded old coconuts and a small amount of white sugar. The cost is actually lower than most regular candies.”
These details were actually written very clearly in Su Taotao’s plan; Fu Zhengtu just highlighted them a bit.
The deputy director took the envelope and didn’t notice anything special at first, but when he opened it and examined the contents, he saw the hidden feature on the bag.
He looked at it and passed it to the others: “Check this out—someone with this kind of talent would be perfect for our design team.”
The others were quite surprised after looking at it.
Office Manager: “Did your wife design this herself too?”
Fu Zhengtu nodded: “Yes, from sourcing materials to production, packaging, and sales... She’s planned everything from the workshop location and structure to staffing and logistics.”
Fu Zhengtu paused: “The workshop and Yu Hong Class go hand in hand. First came the workshop, and then we added Yu Hong Class so family members wouldn’t have to worry about childcare while working.
She’s included a detailed budget in the attachment. In my opinion, her plan is flawless.”
As he spoke, Fu Zhengtu made a “please” gesture: “Everyone can try the product she made herself.”
Everyone took a piece and was blown away.
The deputy director’s hand trembled: “Is this really made by Little Su using old coconuts?”
