"A'Chu, I really underestimated you."
The issues he had been avoiding were laid bare by Song Chuyi’s analysis, exposed in front of him.
Gu Bing did not deny his words; in fact, his analysis was spot-on.
He was indeed trapped in the whirlpool of the company, weighed down by responsibilities so heavy that he could barely stand up straight, suffocating under the pressure.
"I am the only heir to the Gu family and the sole ruler of the Gu Group."
He took a deep sip of red wine.
With the alcohol clouding his mind, he tore open his calm facade, revealing the multitude of wounds beneath.
"From childhood, I have always been outstanding, leading my peers and becoming synonymous with excellence."
"At the age of twenty, my father passed the Gu Group to me."
"He said he was getting old, and it was time for me to take on the responsibility."
"I took on the responsibility and managed the Gu Group well."
"The moment I took over, the Gu Group and I became inseparable."
"But the internet evolves rapidly, with new algorithms emerging constantly, and any slack would leave us behind."
"To maintain our position at the top, one must remain vigilant."
"A'Chu, did I do something wrong?"
Song Chuyi shook his head, "No, the internet industry is indeed unique."
"However..." He leaned closer, "you don’t need to worry so much about falling behind."
"New algorithms may emerge frequently, but the Gu Group has money. Buy them out!"
Gu Bing: ...
It was a simple and direct approach, one he had never considered.
"If you can't buy them, it means you haven’t offered enough money!"
"If all else fails, hand it over to me."
He patted his chest, "I’m very capable. I can understand any new algorithm at a glance."
The alcohol was making him dizzy.
"I also know about artificial intelligence."
He slumped against Gu Bing’s shoulder, "I’m really good."
Gu Bing smiled helplessly, "Yes, my A'Chu is the best."
"So you should try to learn how to let go!" Song Chuyi raised his hand, perhaps feeling hot, he loosened his clothes, revealing his pale neck.
"You still need to work, but during off-hours, don’t think about work."
"You can shift your focus, like..."
Gu Bing followed his lead, "Like what?"
Song Chuyi lifted his head, his eyes slightly reddened, staring at Gu Bing’s lips.
They were thin but beautifully shaped.
"Kiss me."
As he spoke, he leaned forward.
Their warm lips met, their temperatures slightly different but gradually aligning.
Gu Bing’s thoughts about the company vanished in this warmth, transforming into a single desire.
Kiss him.
Kiss his A'Chu.
Gu Bing took the initiative, embracing Song Chuyi.
Under the starry sky, the moon shone brightly, creating a stunning scene.
On the soft sand, two bodies embraced.
Song Chuyi’s mind was hazy, and he lost track of what happened later.
All he felt was a cool sensation, yet somehow comfortable?
He seemed uncomfortable again, mumbling for a while until darkness enveloped him, pulling him into unconsciousness.
He had no memory of what happened afterward.
When he regained consciousness, he found himself back at the Gu residence.
Song Chuyi: ? ? ?
"Wake up?" Gu Bing chuckled, "Don’t tell me you don’t recognize this place?"
Song Chuyi's eyes widened, and he swallowed in disbelief.
"I... I fell asleep?"
A hint of guilt flashed in Gu Bing's eyes. "Yeah, you slept all day."
He poured a cup of warm water and fed it to Song Chuyi bit by bit.
"It was my fault for pushing you too hard. I'm sorry."
Song Chuyi didn't hear a word he said; he was screaming at Xiaotong in his mind.
"Xiaotong, Xiaotong!!! Ahhhhh! I actually fell asleep!"
Xiaotong: "Ahhhh! Host! The antagonist has been sleeping for a long time too!"
Song Chuyi: "Ahhhhhhh! I actually fell asleep!"
Xiaotong: "Ahhhhhhhhh! I’m about to reach the pinnacle of being a system!"
Song Chuyi: "..."
"Xiaotong, you're a bit noisy."
Xiaotong: "Huh? Weren't you also going 'ahhhhh' all the time?"
Song Chuyi: "..."
"Xiaotong, did we complete the task?"
Xiaotong checked its prompt. "Not yet, we're still a little short."
Song Chuyi was even more shocked. He had fallen asleep without completing the task?
Wasn’t falling asleep supposed to be the reward for completing the task?!
Could there be anything more shocking and delightful than this!
Song Chuyi suddenly looked up at Gu Bing. "You!"
He lifted his head, his delicate face filled with arrogant pride.
"You have to do what you did last night every single night from now on!"
That way, he could sleep like a normal human every day!
This was simply too blissful!
Gu Bing was silent for a moment before slowly smiling.
"Okay."
He held Song Chuyi's hand and gently played with it.
"As long as you don't beg me to stop."
"No, no!" Song Chuyi hurriedly said.
How could he possibly beg to stop when something as wonderful as sleeping was involved?
He couldn't get enough of it!
After the excitement, Song Chuyi noticed something odd.
"Huh? Brother Gu, you didn't go to work today?"
Gu Bing raised an eyebrow lightly. "It's the weekend. Why would I go to work?"
"Didn't A'Chu say that one should work when it's time to work and not work when it's not?"
"I think A'Chu is right."
He leaned down and gave him a light peck on the lips.
"When I'm not working, I want to be with A'Chu."
His fingers lightly traced the exposed skin on Song Chuyi's body. "If I think about work when I'm not supposed to, then I'll punish myself by kissing A'Chu."
And with that, he kissed him.
Sure enough, once he kissed his A'Chu, all thoughts of work and the company vanished.
All he wanted was to kiss him and... claim him as his own.
—
Song Chuyi ate a meal and then was pulled into another kiss by Gu Bing.
As they kissed, hmm? How did they end up on the bed?
Wait, what is this uncomfortable yet pleasurable feeling?
From day to night, Song Chuyi was initially enthusiastic, but eventually, only faint cries for mercy could be heard.
Later, he fell asleep, exhausted.
Seeing him asleep, Gu Bing lowered his head and kissed his forehead.
"Goodnight, my A'Chu."
In response, there was only the sound of light breathing.
Gu Bing, feeling content, held Song Chuyi tightly and fell into a deep sleep. This time, both of them slept for a full eight hours before waking up.
After waking up, Song Chuyi rubbed his waist, starting to feel regret.
Having to do all sorts of things every night just to fall asleep? Could he... choose not to sleep at all?
