Chapter 476: A’Chu, the Unsolved Mystery in His Life
by 棠棠Chapter 476: A'Chu Was the One Puzzle He Couldn't Solve
Song Chuyi glared at Gu Yongnian, her tone fierce.
"Don't even think about it!"
Gu Yongnian's lashes trembled slightly as he responded with a quiet hum.
The warmth against his lips was A'Chu's distinctive warmth.
It felt like ages since he had last touched such warmth.
His eyelids grew heavy as Gu Yongnian grew drowsy.
The darkness pulled at him, swallowing his consciousness along with it.
Gu Yongnian's throat bobbed slightly as he slowly lifted his gaze to meet Song Chuyi's.
Song Chuyi was looking at him too.
"Sleepy now?"
He lowered his hand, a faint smile playing at his lips.
His eyes brimmed with tenderness, those stunning eyes shimmering like starlight, drawing Gu Yongnian in irresistibly.
For a long time now, he hadn’t wanted to resist.
From a young age, he had willingly stepped into a life named "Song Chuyi."
That realm was formless chaos, where good and evil didn't exist—or perhaps it was because the Sacred Tree itself was fundamentally different from humans.
A'Chu had no concept of right and wrong. What humans considered simple matters were impossible for A'Chu to judge.
Or rather, humans judged the rights and wrongs of the universe from their own perspectives.
Why would the universe need human judgment?
Recalling the past, Gu Yongnian nearly laughed.
He had been born into a scholarly family, gifted and privileged. No one would dare criticize him.
Everyone said he was gentle, diligent, and a genuinely kind soul.
But no one knew he was a total control freak.
From a very young age, his need for control first showed itself.
During group projects in school, he never delegated—he did everything himself.
Trusting others? He'd rather hold all the cards himself.
He had absolute confidence in himself, believing he could handle and control everything.
A'Chu… was the one puzzle he couldn't solve.
Even now, he couldn’t fathom A'Chu's whimsical ideas.
That illogical way of thinking still eluded him completely.
But he was so drawn to him.
He loved the dazzling burst when fire met darkness, loved that searing, vibrant energy that seemed capable of burning anyone who got too close.
But nobody could say no to that.
Gu Yongnian gazed tenderly at Song Chuyi and gave a gentle nod.
"I'm tired."
Song Chuyi hummed lightly and patted his own shoulder.
"You can lean on my shoulder to sleep."
"But only for today."
"No hand-holding or hugs unless I say so, understand?"
Gu Yongnian didn't lean over, though he ached to reach out.
"A'Chu, I can't rest," he said quietly.
"Not until we're back with the Federation."
Gu Yongnian pursed his lips slightly.
"The Zerg Queen, the Beast King, and the Mechanical Clan..."
"They all want to make you theirs."
Song Chuyi blinked. "You mean they want to possess my original form?"
Gu Yongnian's eyes held a trace of complexity as he shook his head.
"No."
"They want to make you theirs."
Gu Yongnian lowered his voice.
"I didn't realize until I woke up—while we were in the small world, your original form would assume human form at certain times."
"They... saw your original form on the livestream."
Perhaps afraid of misunderstanding, he quickly added, "You had clothes on."
Song Chuyi—
