Song Chuyi was startled and quickly withdrew his hand.
"No way, no way, no way."
"Let’s keep it verbal, not physical, alright?"
Gu Jingnian stared directly at him, "Then, A'Chu, go ahead and bite my lips."
"Bite me however you like."
Song Chuyi was speechless.
That’s not what I meant by using our mouths.
He cleared his throat loudly, "That’s not what I was getting at."
"Anyway, I’m not holding this against you."
"Honestly, I think living here isn’t so bad."
Gu Jingnian gave a low hum in response.
After a brief silence, he asked again, "A'Chu, would it bother you if I looked into your background?"
Song Chuyi waved his hand, "I don’t mind, feel free to dig around."
"Besides, your nephew and my brother are already dating."
"They’re probably going to end up together."
"Will your family also run a background check on my brother?"
I’ve heard that wealthy families always do background checks before marriage, and the Gu family is no different.
Gu Jingnian nodded.
If Gu Deng is serious about being with Song Yun—or even marrying him—then a background check is unavoidable.
But Gu Deng is his own person, and so am I.
He didn’t want A'Chu to get the wrong idea because of the investigation.
But since A'Chu was fine with it, that settled the matter.
That night, Gu Jingnian logged out for a while.
After ordering the investigation, he received Song Chuyi’s details in his inbox in under half an hour.
Gu Jingnian skimmed the report and found out that A'Chu was still in a regular ward at the central hospital.
He wasted no time arranging A'Chu’s transfer to a VIP suite.
Meanwhile, he started reaching out to top experts at home and abroad to figure out how to wake A'Chu.
After two hours of nonstop work, Gu Jingnian logged back into the game.
In the game, dawn had broken, and Song Chuyi was just opening up shop. With his 'Sleepless Coffee' gaining popularity, players would flood in the moment he opened the door.
This is a great item that doesn’t reduce fatigue. Even if you don’t drink it yourself, reselling it can earn you a lot of money.
Song Chuyi even put a limit on it, allowing each person to buy only one cup of coffee per day.
The limit hasn’t cooled the players’ excitement; instead, it has become even more popular.
Even NPCs have gotten involved.
Gu Jingnian noticed how busy Song Chuyi was, walked over, and silently started helping.
They worked together seamlessly, sending off wave after wave of customers.
After closing up for the afternoon, Song Chuyi handed him a cup of coffee with a chuckle.
"Did you find anything out?"
Gu Jingnian gently hugged him.
"A'Chu, you've been working so hard."
"I've already arranged for you to be transferred to a VIP ward, so you'll be more comfortable."
Song Chuyi laughed, "Honestly, I don't feel much."
"My brother has been taking care of me these past two years. Even though I was in a regular ward, the costs weren't cheap."
Song Yun left school early to support the family, enduring a lot of hardship.
To pay for his brother’s treatment, he even worked at a bar and, by chance, met Gu Deng.
After the release of "Destiny," Song Yun saw a business opportunity and blew all his savings on a holo-pod.
Once he started earning in the game, Song Yun bought a better holo-pod for his younger brother.
Honestly, Song Yun has been a pretty great older brother.
So his younger brother should step up his game too.
Song Chuyi had more good things to say about Song Yun.
Gu Jingnian, seeing that his A'Chu kept talking about how great his brother was, tightened his lips.
"A'Chu."
He had a serious look.
"Although Song Yun is your biological brother."
"But I..."
He no longer hid his jealousy.
"I get jealous."
"Hearing you go on about another guy like that, I get really jealous."
This jealousy clouded his judgment of Song Yun, sparking a dark idea that if he couldn’t break that brotherly bond, then he should just kill Song Yun.
But that’s not right.
His only shred of conscience was warning him like this.
Song Chuyi was momentarily startled but quickly caught on to what Gu Jingnian meant.
Gu Jingnian didn’t give a hoot about what Song Yun and Gu Deng were doing in the game.
What mattered to him was that Song Yun was his blood brother, someone he cared about deeply.
Song Chuyi smacked his forehead as it all clicked.
"I get it!"
To stop the villain from wrecking the game world, just avoid mentioning Song Yun.
This was simple.
Song Chuyi grinned, "No worries, I’ll keep my mouth shut."
"Thanks, Brother Jing, for hooking me up with the VIP suite. I’m stoked!"
He was over the moon.
It looked like he’d figured out how to stop the villain from trashing the game world!
In his excitement, he leaned in and gave Gu Jingnian a quick peck on the corner of his lips.
"Brother Jing, I made a ton of *Destiny* coins today. Dinner’s on me tonight!"
*Destiny* had loads of great restaurants, and he planned to hit them all with him.
Gu Jingnian was delighted, radiating happiness.
"Alright."

Just as Song Chuyi figured, Gu Jingnian couldn’t care less about Song Yun and Gu Deng messing up the game world.
He even left it to the mainframe, Zero, to deal with vampires popping up in the cultivation section.
Now, he had just one thing on his mind.
Healing A'Chu.
Within two weeks, his expert team had some good news.
Their research showed that *Destiny* could stimulate the body, potentially waking a coma patient.
But in *Destiny*, the patient needed a major jolt.
Pain was the most effective method.
Sure, there were other ways, but they’d take longer.
Gu Jingnian couldn’t stomach the thought of A'Chu suffering, so he went with a different approach.
The idea was to kickstart the patient’s cells.
In short, it was about sparking emotions.
The method Gu Jingnian chose was to provoke Song Chuyi’s emotional reactions through intimate gestures.
Song Chuyi was unaware of the expert team’s suggestions; he just found Gu Jingnian’s recent behavior a bit odd.
Gu Jingnian kept finding all sorts of excuses to kiss, hug, and even lift him up!
And then there was the over-the-top excuse that because he’d washed coffee cups ten times that day, he deserved to sit on his abs and rub against them!
Well… he agreed anyway.
What could he do? Gu Jingnian’s abs were just too irresistible.
Truth be told, he kinda liked them too.
He hadn’t explored other areas, only occasionally getting messages from Song Yun.
It was obvious that Song Yun and Gu Deng had become big shots in the game, completely shaking things up.
But he had no clue what they’d been up to until one day, a vampire walked into his coffee shop, still polished but with a touch of scorn in his voice.
“How are you all still virgins?”
Gu Jingnian brushed off the vampire, his gaze soft as he looked at Song Chuyi.
“Not anymore.”
Song Chuyi was baffled.
