Chapter 244: The Overactive Inner Thoughts of a Crazy Painter's Doll (7)

Song Chuyi wanted to laugh smugly with his hands on his hips, but since he could only move his eyes, he watched Ji Feng get up and head to the kitchen.

He caught a glimpse of Ji Feng washing dishes out of the corner of his eye.

Even washing dishes, the elegant artist was a sight to behold.

Song Chuyi sighed inwardly, his glasses shifting slightly.

Being able to move his body felt amazing!

Shortly after lunch, the courier arrived with the handcuffs.

Ji Feng opened the package, pulled out the pink handcuffs, and gave them a shake.

    "Yi Yi, aren't these cute?"

The handcuffs were padded with soft sponge to prevent chafing.

With two cat ears on the outside, they looked more like a cute toy than handcuffs.

Well... adult toys are still toys, aren't they?

Ji Feng opened the handcuffs, cuffing one end to Yi Yi's right wrist and the other to his own left wrist.

After cuffing them, he grabbed the two keys that came with the handcuffs and tossed them aside.

    "We don't need keys."

    He gave a faint smile.

"Yi Yi feels the same, right?"

Song Chuyi rolled his eyes, annoyed.

Think, think, all he wanted was to eat some meat.

Ji Feng made a surprised noise, leaned in closer, and lifted Yi Yi's eyelid.

"Did Yi Yi just roll his eyes at me?"

He pressed his fingertip to the corner of Yi Yi's eye, then quickly released it.

    "No rolling your eyes."

    "That's not polite."

After a pause, he sighed, seemingly helpless.

"Alright, if it's you, Yi Yi."

"Even rolling your eyes is cute, so I'll let it slide."

    Song Chuyi was speechless.

Ji Feng was so close that Song Chuyi didn't dare move, afraid the man might snap and gouge out his eyeballs.

Ji Feng observed for a while, and when he saw that Yi Yi wasn't rolling his eyes anymore, he praised:

    "Yi Yi is awesome."

    "What a good, obedient kid."

Ji Feng was feeling pretty good; the handcuffs linking them gave him a sense of security.

His Yi Yi wouldn't stray from his sight, nor would he flirt with anyone else.

Yi Yi would only flirt with him.

Just thinking about it got Ji Feng all fired up.

He suddenly got inspired, grabbed Yi Yi, and stood up.

After striding into the studio, Ji Feng placed Yi Yi beside him, grabbed a paintbrush, and quickly started sketching on the blank canvas.

When inspiration hit, he painted like the wind. A few random lines quickly shaped into the slender, exquisite figure of a young man.

Soon, the canvas was awash with vivid reds.

The stunning young man was dressed in a white shirt, but his chest was splattered with bright red blood.

The slightly open collar revealed a slender, fragile neck, as if it might snap at any moment.

Behind him swirled a dense, ominous blood mist, as if it was chasing him, or maybe just playing with him.

Out of the blood mist, a massive hand emerged, clutching the young man's slim waist, as if it was about to yank him into the blood mist any second.

Song Chuyi stood by, slightly stunned as he watched.

He had to admit, Ji Feng's color choices were pretty bold. After all, who'd use such a dark and scary background for a figure?

It practically took over the whole canvas.

The only spot of white was the young man's shirt collar; everything else was drenched in blood red.

There were deep maroons and lighter reds.

And the white collar, not yet stained red, was slightly flipped open, revealing a hint of light red on the delicate collarbone.

Though the scene was eerie and even horrifying, that touch of light red added a bold sense of desire.

It was as if the young man in the painting was seducing the viewer.

He seemed to be saying: Save me, save me, and I will be yours.

The only regret was that the young man's eyes were somewhat deliberately dull.

But this minor flaw did not detract from the overall beauty; it was still very attractive!

Looking at the painting, Song Chuyi couldn't help but marvel in his mind to Xiaotong:

"Who said Ji Feng can't paint figures?"

"Isn't this quite well done? It clearly has the style of a certain type of comic."

Xiaotong: "Host, what is a certain type of comic?"

Song Chuyi: "Little system, don't ask random questions."

He snapped out of his thoughts and turned to Ji Feng.

Ji Feng set down the brush, his gaze fixed on the painting before him, his expression slowly darkening.

    "Trash."

    Song Chuyi: What the...?

If this is trash, what does that say about those who study art?

Ji Feng tore off the painting, crumpled it into a ball, and tossed it into the trash bin beside him.

    "Yi Yi."

He turned to look at Yi Yi, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Does Yi Yi want to paint?"

He pulled Yi Yi into a hug, burying his face in the crook of his neck.

"I’d love to teach Yi Yi how to paint."

"But I’m not good enough yet."

"Can I teach Yi Yi once I’ve improved?"

Song Chuyi wanted to blurt out: No, you’re already amazing.

But he couldn’t speak, only managing a slight twitch of his eyes.

Ji Feng held him for a while, only letting go when the courier arrived, then he carried him outside.

The yard was stacked with fresh fruits and veggies, still glistening with dew, as if they’d just been plucked.

Song Chuyi took one look and nearly pinched himself in disbelief.

Nothing but fruits and veggies! Not a single piece of meat!

No wonder Ji Feng’s so skinny—he’s a total vegetarian, not a muscle in sight.

Song Chuyi seriously considered whacking Ji Feng’s head with a fried chicken leg. How could anyone not love something as delicious as meat?

He wanted to shut his eyes tight, unable to bear the sight of all that green.

But their hands were cuffed together, so if Ji Feng wanted to haul the veggies to the kitchen, he had no choice but to drag Song Chuyi along.

Being this close, Song Chuyi was terrified Ji Feng might notice his closed eyes and yank them out.

So he had no choice but to endure the hug, watching in despair as Ji Feng lugged bags of greens into the kitchen.

The kitchen had a massive double-door fridge, and Song Chuyi watched Ji Feng meticulously organize it, as if it were some monumental chore.

Once the organizing was done, it was time for dinner.

Dinner was a fruit salad—no sashimi, no meat, nothing.

Song Chuyi vowed that if he ever became human, he’d never subject himself to Ji Feng’s bleak existence.

He craved fried chicken legs, grilled beef skewers, and lamb hot pot—absolutely no veggies!

He was internally ranting like crazy, and his once dull eyes slowly began to shine.

This gave the lifeless doll a touch of human emotion.

In the bedroom, Ji Feng gently brushed his fingertip against the corner of Yi Yi's eye.

"Yi Yi's eyes are just so beautiful."

    He hesitated, then added:

"Yi Yi is beautiful all over, but especially the eyes."

His fingertip traced the corner of the eye with hungry obsession.

"What if I took Yi Yi's eyeballs and kept them forever? Wouldn't that be perfect?"

Song Chuyi: !!! He knew it! He knew Ji Feng would lose it and try to take his eyeballs!

    What a bastard!

"Never mind," Ji Feng sighed, almost regretfully. "Taking the eyeballs would mean getting new ones made, and that’s just too much trouble."

"Then Yi Yi wouldn’t really be Yi Yi anymore, and that just wouldn’t do."

He leaned down, his lips brushing the corner of his eye in a tender kiss.

The warm, damp kiss lingered on Song Chuyi's eye corner, sending a faint, ticklish shiver through him.
