Song Chuyi hesitated for a moment before leaning down to lightly brush against Fifteen’s lips.
"This is your reward."
He whispered, his ears tinged red.
Fifteen locked eyes with Song Chuyi, his lips parting slightly.
It was just a simple touch, yet his hunger had mysteriously disappeared.
He had never felt this satisfied before.
A'Chu... was so good.
Fifteen swallowed hard, murmuring, "I like this."
Nothing else could satisfy him like this.
Not even eating the whole building next to them would satisfy him this much.
Seeing that Fifteen was satisfied for now, Song Chuyi let out a sigh of relief.
At least for today, Fifteen wouldn’t eat the building next door.
"You know this is the human world, right?" Song Chuyi asked.
Fifteen nodded, taking Song Chuyi’s wrist and opening his palm. His cool fingertips pressed against Song Chuyi’s palm, drawing something carefully.
Song Chuyi froze at the touch.
This wasn’t writing from this world.
At least, in his memories and the original story’s context, such writing didn’t exist.
But Song Chuyi was absolutely certain—this was a form of writing.
His fingers twitched and curled slightly.
He looked at Fifteen with serious intensity.
"Fifteen."
"What is this?"
Fifteen cocked his head, his almost translucent eyes catching the light faintly.
"My name."
He stressed 'me' specifically.
"A'Chu, understand?"
Song Chuyi remained silent.
He tried to discern something from Fifteen's innocent, guileless face.
Fifteen didn’t shy away from his gaze either, even giving a small smile.
Song Chuyi drew a deep breath. "You Jian."
He spoke the two words Fifteen had written on his palm.
The seemingly complex strokes were just two simple characters.
Yet these strokes, this script, should only belong to the written language of the Federation—one of the four major powers of the most advanced civilization.
This should have been a script only the villain who'd regained his memories would be familiar with.
Not something this completely naive, oblivious You Jian could possibly know.
Song Chuyi lowered his gaze. "How do you know how to write these two characters?"
Fifteen—no, it should be You Jian—tilted his head as if recalling something.
Two seconds later, he shook his head.
"I've known since birth."
As he spoke, he gently opened Song Chuyi’s hand and wrote something else on his palm.
Song Chuyi immediately recognized it—he was writing “A’Chu.”
After finishing, You Jian smiled.
"And A’Chu’s name. I’ve known it since birth."
This name seemed half-remembered, etched into his very soul.
Compared to “You Jian,” a name he vaguely remembered someone calling him, the two characters “A’Chu” seemed to have appeared fully-formed in his mind.
He couldn’t even remember where they came from.
But he liked A’Chu.
And he was completely certain that A’Chu belonged to him.
You Jian had a faint smile, but the more he smiled like that, the more it unnerved Song Chuyi.
As if realizing something, Song Chuyi seized You Jian’s hand.
"You have to obey me completely, understand?"
You Jian gave a solemn nod.
"I know."
He edged nearer.
"Listen to A’Chu."
"Earn kisses."
Song Chuyi...
No need to say that last part.
At least kisses still satisfy You Jian.
Song Chuyi added a few more reminders before coaxing him to sleep.
You Jian held him in his arms and fell asleep contentedly.
But Song Chuyi wasn't sleepy at all.
He poked the little white bun in his mindscape.
"Xiaotong, can you ask the main system for me what the success standards for this world's mission are?"
Xiaotong quickly went to ask the main system.
"Host, the main system replied that the mission succeeds when the villain's desires are no longer just about food."
Song Chuyi asked again, "Can I leave this world immediately after the mission succeeds?"
Xiaotong was clearly surprised.
"Host, don’t you really like the villain?"
Across so many worlds, Xiaotong had witnessed the host's soft spot for the villain.
And the host had always stayed with the villain for his entire lifetime—why was this world different?
Song Chuyi drew a deep breath. "I do like him, but he’s about to get his memories back."
"He can already write my name in Federation writing."
"If he gets his memories back, none of us will be able to leave."
Even Xiaotong, as slow as it was, picked up on something being off.
Did the host know the villain?
"Host, who exactly is the villain?" Xiaotong asked curiously.
Song Chuyi: "A seriously powerful and messed-up person."
"He’s the villain—what did you expect?"
Xiaotong was still confused. "But host, the villain genuinely cares about you."
"And you care about him too. Even if he’s bad, he’s never hurt you."
Song Chuyi: "..."
"What do you call hurting my back then?"
After saying that, he coughed lightly. "Things Xiaotong shouldn't know about also count as harm."
Xiaotong: "Host, I’ve asked the main system."
"The main system replied that you can leave anytime after the mission is completed."
Song Chuyi only relaxed after getting this answer.
He gazed down at the sleeping You Jian, his fingertips gently tracing You Jian's face.
His rosy fingertips hovered over You Jian’s lips. His eyelids fluttered, and he whispered, "I didn't mean to do this, you know."
