Lu Hang Has Doubts

"Quick, sis! Put big brother in the wheelchair!" Even unreliable Lu Ming had his moments. While everyone else was still stunned, he pushed the wheelchair over.

Lin Nannan didn't hesitate and placed him directly in the wheelchair. Lu Hang said helplessly that since he had no strength in his waist, he wouldn’t be able to sit upright, making all her work pointless. However, as he sat down, there was an audible click—his weak waist was supported. To prevent slipping, the footrest was also adjusted, fully supporting Lu Hang’s body and keeping him firmly seated in the wheelchair, sitting straight as if nothing had ever happened to him.

Seeing him sitting up properly, several family members' eyes instantly welled up.

"He's sitting up! Sister-in-law’s wheelchair really works!" Lu Yuan, noticing her elder brother wasn’t sliding down, tugged excitedly at her mother’s hand.

Zhang Xiaofeng had long been unable to hold back her tears. Watching her son’s astonished expression through her tears, she asked, "A Hang, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"

The moment Lin Nannan heard her mother-in-law’s question, she kept her eyes locked on Lu Hang, wanting to see if he could adjust.

All Lu Hang could think about was the fact that he could finally sit up again. He didn’t even know where to place his hands, standing in complete disbelief.

"Big brother, Mom is asking you—if you can get used to the wheelchair?" Seeing him like this, Lu Yuan’s heart ached, and she quickly leaned in to ask.

Now that she was closer, her words finally reached him.

He looked up at his family’s reddened eyes and answered quietly, "No discomfort. It’s good."

Even if he couldn’t stand, just being able to sit and see the outside world without his family having to support or carry him was already something to be grateful for.

Thinking of his once-grand ambitions and comparing them to his now-modest wishes, he found it all unbelievable.

"Big brother, you have no idea—this wheelchair is so much fun!" Lu Ming the troublemaker piped up again. After explaining briefly, he turned to Lin Nannan and said, "Sister-in-law, show him how it works. Make 01 move so big brother won’t get tired."

Lin Nannan could feel a headache building.

She had created 01 to free herself from having to return frequently to help him turn over, but Lu Ming had completely misunderstood its purpose.

However, since everyone else had already seen it, it wouldn’t be fair to leave Lu Hang out. So Lin Nannan called out, and 01 immediately activated. The wheelchair slowly began moving as Lu Hang watched in shock, while the rest of the Lu family followed closely on either side, guarding him in case he fell.

Lu Hang watched as the wheelchair automatically avoided obstacles, his face a mix of emotions.

While he wasn't worldly, his time in the military had given him some understanding of many things. He knew there was no such wheelchair on the market—no matter how much money one had, it couldn’t be ordered.

So, his wife wasn’t just ordinarily impressive.

While others couldn’t even make a manually controlled wheelchair, she had already created something far more advanced—a voice-controlled one. If word got out, it would be absolutely amazing.

"Can you make more wheelchairs like this in the future?" Lu Hang asked, looking at Lin Nannan.

Though surprised by his question, Lin Nannan answered truthfully, "No, I can’t. The things I have were left to me by those who’ve passed away. I just wanted to give it a try..."

There was nothing wrong with her words, but Lu Hang remained skeptical.

Yet, Lin Nannan, who had never left the village, seemed to have had no contact with anyone other than those elders who had already passed away.

So, were these things really taught to her by them?
