"How could that be? Gold will shine anywhere!" Zhang Jing felt Lin Nannan was underestimating herself.

Lin Nannan, however, disagreed. "Gold needs a chance to shine. If I hadn’t married Lu Hang but someone ignorant and unwilling to let his wife step out into the world, I wouldn’t have had the chance to leave home, let alone encounter the opportunities I have now."

"The reason I can sit here today is that my in-laws supported me unconditionally. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to bring Du Du and leave."
