He had full faith in Yin Xu's arrangements, but distance was a limiting factor. In the end, they were rescued, though it was the military unit stationed closer who came to their aid, as Yin Xu had requested assistance.

By the time Lin Nannan and the others arrived, the situation had largely been resolved. The injured had been taken away, and only Professor Xue and Tian Jia remained, waiting with their security detail.

"Professor Xue," Lin Nannan immediately asked with concern upon seeing him, "How are you? Are you injured?"

Xue He shook his head and said, "I’m fine. They had my back, but those who guarded me were injured and have been taken to the hospital."

Hearing that Professor Xue was unharmed, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

"Professor Xue, don’t worry about those who were hurt. We will take care of them. It’s still dangerous for you to stay here. Please come with us and leave this place first!" Chen Jin said.
