Curious, Lin Nannan began unwrapping the bundles while asking, "Dad, what's inside?"

"Things brought for you, all food..." As Lu Fang spoke, Lin Nannan had already fumbled through and pulled out a bag of candy. She sniffed the scent and said happily, "Is it maltose?"

"Yes, maltose. Homemade. Your grandmother kept thinking about it, saying you'd surely like it, so she made some and had us bring it." Lu Fang explained with a smile.

Looking at the maltose, Lin Nannan felt a twinge of sadness and said, "I miss Grandma!"

"Grandma knows you're busy. When you're free, go back to see her. She'll be very happy!" Lu Fang comforted her. "Alright, have the rest of the stuff taken away. Finish up quickly and come back, before Du Du comes looking for you."
