"You naughty child, if you don’t go home obediently, I’ll really beat you!" Yu Jiadong said as he closed in. Lin Nannan ignored him and continued staring at old lady Zhao. "Grandma, I’m still hungry!"

Her words sent a chill down old lady Zhao’s spine. Something felt off, but she couldn’t quite place it.

"You’ll get plenty to eat at home, just behave!" old lady Zhao replied uneasily.

"You’re breaking your promise!" Lin Nannan said darkly.

Old lady Zhao had had enough and urged, "Get on with it!"

The girl gave her the creeps, and she wished she had never crossed paths with her. But with things having gone this far, there was no turning back. She could only press her son to tie her up.

After keeping up this charade for so long, they had to see it through.

Lin Nannan finally finished the corn in her hand and tossed it aside. Without a word, she kicked the approaching man, sending him flying with a cry. Under the stunned gazes of the crowd, he crashed heavily to the ground with a loud "thud," leaving everyone stunned.

"Grandma, I’m still hungry!" She fixed old lady Zhao with a dark stare.

This time, old lady Zhao snapped. She staggered back, her face ashen, and roared, "Hurry up and tie this crazy girl down! Now!"

"Y-you… stay away!" Old lady Zhao froze in terror, too scared to even scold her. After stammering a few words, she turned to flee, only for Lin Nannan to drag her back.

"Grandma, you promised me I’d eat my fill!" She pulled old lady Zhao along to buy more food, completely ignoring the people writhing on the ground. The whole thing was so weird, nobody knew what to do, but they still went running for help.

Since they were still at the train station, the police arrived quickly. Seeing the groaning figures on the ground and a young girl dragging an old woman around to buy food in the distance, they listened to the scattered explanations from the crowd. At first, they figured the girl was just acting up and tried to mediate—until old lady Zhao took one look at them and screamed for help, leaving everyone stunned.

"Elderly lady, even if the child is misbehaving, we’ll sort it out. Just take her home and teach her properly," Yu Jiadong, who had never seen someone assault others over food before, advised old lady Zhao.

Old lady Zhao shook her head but couldn’t find the words to respond.

"Who’d want a kid like this? She beats people up when she’s not happy with her food!"

"Exactly! Who’d want her?"

The injured on the ground were examined, and they were in bad shape.

"Team leader, they’re all severely hurt—some with broken ribs, others with serious internal injuries!"

The results shocked Yu Jiadong, and he looked at Lin Nannan differently.
